Membership
The Basenji Club of Victoria Incorporated is a Club for all Basenji lovers, whether they be pet owners, breeders, conformation exhibitors, obedience triallers, trackers, any dog sport enthusiast, or those who are simply fans of the Basenji. We have members in all states of Australia, as well as overseas members. New members are always welcome and we welcome your input and ideas!
The Club holds one Championship Show, one Open Show and one Members Competition each year as well as a social Gala Day and several Basenji Walks in the park held in different locations throughout Melbourne. All of these events are an ideal opportunity to meet other members of the Club and discuss any issues you may have with breeders and other owners. A lunch, afternoon tea or dinner is always held in conjunction with these events. The Club also publishes a club magazine on a bi-monthly basis. This magazine contains not only the Club's news and show results, but also interesting, informative and amusing articles on all aspects of owning a Basenji.
